On average, employers grant one interview per 245 résumés. Some companies receive over 100,000 résumés a year. Between 85-95% of résumés end up in the trash. My Commitment
|
I have over 20 years of experience working in retail management, customer service, business account management, direct-marketing, resource and people management in both corporate and field operation settings. I have hired, on-boarded, mentored and trained many associates throughout my career.
Over the years, I have been through several job searches and career transitions and have had countless interviews so I bring real-world experience to the process. I have been helping friends and colleagues with their résumé and writing needs for years and they all say I have a knack for making “okay” résumés “great.” I have participated in résumé writing workshops run by human resources professionals as well. I volunteer as a résumé writer and interview coach at Jobless Warrior and Dress For Success. Also, I am a member of the National Résumé Writer's Association, Professional Association of Résumé Writer's & Career Coaches, American Management Association, Direct Marketing Association In addition, I have an M.B.A. from Hofstra University and a B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany. |
My commitment is to write a résumé that gets you noticed and gives you a competitive edge. A résumé is a first step to get you in the door. It may not guarantee a job, but if it's not well written you may not even be considered.
Why choose me? Having been through several career changes, and job hunts myself, I have seen how job searching has changed. You won't get a cookie-cutter résumé. I get to know you personally so I can properly document your accomp-lishments and understand your goals. Your résumé will be pertinent to your industry/field. Having worked in several industries and having contacts in many others, I can tap into their expertise and experience. |
